Agreement

We are Volt Renewables Limited (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in the United Kingdom at 11 Merus Court, Leicester, Leicestershire LE19 1RJ with company number 16141229.

We operate the website http://www.voltrenewables.co.uk (the “Site”), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the “Legal Terms”) (collectively, the “Services”).

Alpha Electrical And Property Limited (“Alpha Electrical”) is a closely associated company of Volt Renewables Limited, and is registered in the United Kingdom at 3 Elm Drive, Elm Drive, Market Harborough, England, LE16 9DS and with company number 11046524.

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Services.

We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms for your records.

1. About us and our role

1.1 Alpha Electrical is a fully accredited provider of solar photovoltaic, battery storage and electric vehicle charging solutions, responsible for the sales, specification, supply and installation services.

1.2 Volt Renewables acts solely as an introducer, referring customers exclusively to Alpha Electrical And Property Limited (Alpha Electrical), an associated company. If you proceed with a purchase, we may receive a commission for the introduction. This does not affect the price you pay or the services provided by Alpha Electrical.

1.3 Legal contract

  • Your contract for the provision of advice as well as the design, specification, supply, installation and maintenance of any system or part thereof is with Alpha Electrical.
  • Payments for all services, including supply and installation of any system or part thereof, will be made directly to Alpha Electrical.
  • Volt Renewables Limited does not enter into a contractual relationship with customers beyond facilitating introductions to Alpha electrical.


1.4 Data protection & privacy

  • For the purposes of UK GDPR, Alpha Electrical and Volt Renewables are joint data controllers of your personal data.
  • Volt Renewables collects your details and shares them with Alpha Electrical to facilitate your enquiry and potential purchase.
  • Alpha Electrical then manages all data processing related to sales, contracts and service delivery.
  • Volt Renewables may also retain your details for marketing purposes, subject to your consent. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us, or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing communication email.

1.5 Superseding agreement

  • Any agreement entered into between the customer and Alpha Electrical for the design, supply, sale or installation of products or services (or any advice given in respect thereof) shall supersede any conflicting terms set out in this document in relation to Alpha Electrical. These Terms & Conditions of Service primarily govern the facilitation and introduction services provided by Volt Renewables.
  • Customers should carefully review Alpha Electrical’s contract, as it governs all aspects of their agreement, including design specification and suitability, warranties, workmanship, guarantees and dispute resolution.

2. Quotations & Orders

2.1 Quotations, estimates and proposals are issued by Alpha Electrical.

2.2 By placing an order, you acknowledge that all services, including the design, supply, sales and installation of any system or part thereof, or advice in respect of such potential or actual purchase, will be provided by Alpha Electrical.

3. Surveys & Installation

3.1 A free home survey will be conducted to assess system feasibility and suitability and to allow Alpha Electrical to provide a quotation.

3.2 Installation dates are subject to availability and weather conditions.

3.3 You are responsible for obtaining any necessary planning permissions, as required.

3.4 Alpha Electrical are an MCS-accredited, NAPIT-registered and RECC-registered installer and all of Alpha Electrical’s works will be carried out in compliance with these standards.

3.5 Following installation, you will receive relevant certification and warranty documentation from Alpha Electrical.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 A deposit may be required upon placing an order. Full payment terms will be outlined in your agreement with Alpha Electrical.

4.3 If you use a third-party finance provider, you remain responsible for complying with their terms.

5. Warranties & Aftercare

5.1 Equipment warranties are provided by the manufacturers.

5.2 Alpha Electrical provides an insurance-backed workmanship warranty for the installation.

5.3 Any post-installation support or warranty claims should be directed to Alpha Electrical, as they are solely responsible for aftercare services.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 Retail customers have 14 days from signing their contract to cancel without penalty, unless installation has already commenced. If you cancel after the installation has been scheduled or any equipment has been ordered on your behalf, you may be liable for costs incurred, including but not limited to material expenses and administrative fees. Any refund policies will be set out in your contract with Alpha Electrical.

7. Liability & Limitations

7.1 Alpha Electrical And Property Limited is solely responsible for all design, supply and installation-related services, warranties and contractual obligations.

7.2 Volt Renewables Limited has no liability for any disputes, delays, or issues arising from the installation or product performance.

7.3 We are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. adverse weather, supply chain disruptions).

7.4 While we may provide estimated energy savings, actual performance depends on factors such as weather conditions and usage.

8. Complaints & Disputes

8.1 If you have concerns, contact Alpha Electrical at 07866 368394, as they are responsible for resolving installation and service-related issues. Alpha Electrical aims to acknowledge all complaints within 5 working days and to provide a resolution within 14 days where possible.

8.2 Volt Renewables Limited may assist in an advisory capacity but is not responsible for dispute resolution.

8.3 If you are dissatisfied with the response, you may escalate complaints to RECC (Renewable Energy Consumer Code) or other regulatory bodies as necessary. Please refer to the complaints procedure for further details.

9. Amendments to Terms

9.1 We may update these Terms & Conditions of Service at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

9.2 By continuing to use our services, you agree to any updated Terms & Conditions of Service.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
